Three of my favorite people are on this.
The wheels take impact and stress off your legs, and the position helps your spine, but you’re still doing running motions instead of biking motions, so your legs are getting a good workout, and you can go for longer
nerdy shit aside, iamgine how sick it must be to just let those feet fly into the air and do superman poses down a highway

SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT
So if a teenager is at school for roughly 8 hours, and they are doing homework for 6+ hours, and they need AT LEAST 9 HOURS OF SLEEP FOR THEIR DEVELOPING BRAINS, then they may have 0-1 hours for other activities like eating, bathing, exercise, socializing (which is actually incredibly important for emotional, mental, and physical health, as well as the development of skills vital to their future career and having healthy romantic relationships among other things), religious activities, hobbies, extra curriculars, medical care of any kind, chores (also a skill/habit development thing and required by many parents), relaxation, and family time? Not to mention that your parents may or may not pressure you to get a job, or you might need to get one for economic reasons.

Which doesn’t even allude to the fact that these same students are ADDITIONALLY expected to be vibrant members of the community, multi-sport varsity athletes, who have at least a few leadership roles in various clubs, and please make sure to maintain healthy family relationships. While you’re at it, remember to make time for SAT/ACT/ASVAB testing on the weekends, along with college visits, overnights, interviews, and applications (which you don’t just write, you edit multiple times). So when you come into school in a sweatshirt and ponytail and someone makes a remark about your lack of effort, try not to punch them or disintegrate into a full-on panic attack.
I’m so grateful I went to a school where teachers didn’t think it was logical to give over an hour of work every night. <3
