I go hard in the hunger games.
District 7 represent!
Sadly this is missing the green lipstick, green wig, and very earthy dress/stockings/boots. But you get the idea.
I wanted to post this picture before DiCarlo decides to.
The past 2 weekends I’ve gone to pick-up Quidd in Central Park have been ridiculously awesome, and today I played for the first time in straight up SNOOOWWW.
And I have to say that SNOW QUIDDITCH IS THE BOOMMBBBBBBBB!
Because when in doubt, there are always snowballs to make your day brighter. >:D
And snow just makes everything more magical in general, and it’s Quidditch so. I’m really grateful for some wicked friends I’ve made, but mainly Miss Jenna Jankowski. You da bomb. GOOOLDD
30 notesSooo I miss the Aiken Community Playhouse. A lot.
I’ve been thinking about this the past few days as I try to decide whether or not to audition for The Great American Trailer Park Musical in May. It would mean I’d have to stay in Aiken for half the summer, but it would also mean being back at the playhouse with what I’m sure will be a great cast of great friends who I miss dearly. And ever since I did Picasso, I’ve wished I’d done a non-youth show muchmuch earlier. One of my biggest regrets is undoubtedly being too timid to audition for any of the musicals directed by great directors who I happen to get along great with— and who I found out after I graduated that they’ve been dying to direct me. haha yeah, what the fuck….
So one of them will be directing TGATPM, which is annoying to me because of how much the culture that show portrays pisses me the fuck off, but it could be fun nonetheless. It’s apparently a really enjoyable show on the whole, though not top quality.
And fact remains I haven’t been in a full play since Picasso.
So thinking about all this I just got all nostalgic and shit about ACP, and went through some of my past characters and was just like dawww good tiiiiiimes. So I’m posting that. Chyupchyup.
I’m so immeasurably grateful for everything ACP has done for me. Considering my school had no drama program, I definitely wouldn’t be in NYC now if it weren’t for them.
